The Territory-wide Identity Card Replacement Exercise has ended and the Smart Identity Card Replacement Centres (SIDCCs) have ceased to provide services. Eligible members of the public who have yet to apply for a new smart identity card should make appointment at Registration of Persons Office - Hong Kong Office, Kowloon Office, Kwun Tong Office or Tuen Mun Office for replacement application. The Territory-wide Identity Card Replacement Exercise
The Territory-wide Identity Card Replacement Exercise has commenced since December 27, 2018. The old form of smart identity card holders will be invited by phases, in accordance with the replacement schedule, to have their existing smart HKICs replaced at the dedicated smart identity card replacement centres.

Holders of Hong Kong Identity Cards (HKICs) who have been called up under their age groups may bring along two persons with disabilities, in addition to two family members or friends aged 65 or above, to replace HKICs together.
